Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Accuracy matters most when readers rely on us for information about money and public support. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.

How to report an error

Email info@weeb.com.pk with the subject line “Correction request”. Please include:

  • the article link;
  • what you believe is wrong; and
  • the official source (link, notification or document) that shows the correct information, if you have one.

You can also use the contact form on our Contact Us page.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge correction requests within 2 working days.
  • An editor checks the claim against official sources.
  • If the error affects payments, dates, eligibility or helpline details, we treat it as urgent and correct it as soon as we confirm it.

How we correct

  • Factual corrections: we fix the text and add a dated note at the end of the article, for example: “Correction, 14 October 2026: An earlier version of this article gave the wrong payment amount. The correct amount, according to the official notice, is the figure stated in that notice.”
  • Clarifications: if the article was accurate but unclear, we rewrite it and add a short “Clarification” note.
  • Updates: new information after publication is added with an “Updated” timestamp. This is not a correction.
  • Serious errors: if an article’s main claim is wrong, we correct the headline as well and put the correction note at the top.
  • Removal: we remove an article only for legal reasons, safety risks or if it cannot be corrected. We say so on the page where possible.

We do not silently change important facts.

Decisions and appeals

The editor of Weeb Pakistan makes the final decision on correction requests. If you disagree, reply to our email and ask for a second review.
