Our mission
Millions of Pakistani families rely on government support programs, but official notices are often hard to find, hard to read, or only in one language. Fake websites and SMS scams take advantage of this. Our mission is to:
- explain official announcements clearly and accurately, with links to the original source;
- tell readers how to check their own status on official channels only; and
- help readers recognise and avoid scams.
What we cover
- Social protection programs: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), the 8171 web portal, Benazir Kafaalat, Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, and similar federal and provincial schemes. We cover eligibility rules, payment schedules, registration steps and official helplines.
- Punjab and provincial public services: citizen services such as licences, provincial support schemes and service portals.
- National news: education, transport, technology, prices, and other public-interest updates in Pakistan.
What we will never do
- We will never ask for your CNIC number, bank account details, PIN, password or one-time code (OTP).
- We will never charge a fee for information about a government program, or claim we can speed up or release a payment.
- We will never present ourselves as an official portal or helpline.
Our team
Our articles are written and edited by the people credited on each story. Every article should carry a real byline, linked to a profile. Meet the credits we publish on our Our Team page.
