During a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, discussions were held regarding the provision of accessible loans—under the Apna Ghar housing scheme to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and various other sectors.
It was announced that the loan process is being further simplified. Previously, loan approvals could remain pending for two to three months; however, this has now changed. The approval timeline has been significantly reduced to just 15 days. Furthermore, whereas applicants were previously required to visit a bank in person and provide over 25 different documents, now only five documents are required to complete the registration process.
Once these five documents are submitted, the registration process is finalized. At that stage, you are provided with full details and informed that you will become eligible to obtain the loan within the next 15 days.

Apna Ghar Scheme 2026 Budget
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that, under this scheme, 75,198 loans worth 448 billion rupees have been approved so far, while loans amounting to 76 billion rupees have already been disbursed to 14,000 individuals.
A target has also been set to provide 700 billion rupees in loans for 125,000 residential units this year. To facilitate the public, the processing time for housing scheme applications has been reduced to 15 days.

- Visit the official website of the ‘Apna Ghar’ scheme.

- This includes your National Identity Card (CNIC) number, full name, phone number, email address, and a password.

Registration Through Banks

- You can visit any of the banks participating in this scheme. These include UBL, Bank Alfalah, and several other banks. Once there, you will need to obtain a registration form.
- You must enter all the required information into the registration form; you may also seek guidance or assistance from a bank representative. Once this is done, your registration will be complete.
- Subsequently, within 15 days, you will receive a call from a bank representative confirming that your registration process has been finalized.
